The Beautiful views to be seen while Cruising Phuket
Take in some Great Thai Escapes

Discover the hidden treasures in Phuket's, Andaman Sea and Phang Nga Bay. Plot a course to the many islands in Phang Nga Bay. Visit sea caves and islands with sheer cliffs in the calmest of waters. Phang Nga Bay has a wonderful advantage over many other cruising grounds because sailors are able to visit the beautiful surrounds year round with anchors for both the North East Monsoon and the South West Monsoon Seasons. Other places of interest in the Phang Nga Bay area include Krabi with nearby Railay Beach and the Chicken Islands name for the rock formations on the Southern Island. Chicken Islands are good for snorkelling in the shallow waters. Further south you will come across Phi Phi Islands with a great reef at the north eastern side of Phi Phi Don.

People who wish to charter yachts in the North East Monsoon Season can take advantage of the wind direction which allows cruising all the way up the west coast of Phuket and if you like, you are able to go as far as the Burmese border, exploring all the wonderful Islands with many beautiful anchorages.

While cruising on one of our sailing yachts in the idyllic Phang Nga Bay area your are able to explore the many "Hongs" (open caves) at Koh Phanak and Koh Hong, and the limestane cliffs of Phi Phi Islands and Maya Bay (The cult film The Beach was filmed here) or take a longer trip to The Similan Islands where you will enjoy the crystal clear waters and the beauty and abundance of marine life.

If you have a little more time, take a cruise to Langkawi, Malaysia taking in the breath taking islands of Koh Rok, Koh Kradan, the Butang group of islands, Tarutao and almost 100 islands around Langkawi.

With a little luck you can eat some fresh sea food that you have caught yourselves or have purchased from the local fishermen in the area.

Better still, get over to one of the many local sailing regattas in the region. Phuket and nearby Langkawi offer both regional and International Regattas such as the world renown King's Cup Regatta that is held just offer Kata Beach on the south western side of Phuket Island in the beginning of December and over the King of Thailand's Birthday which is on 5 December.

If you are interested in sailing in one a regatta that is known as the social regatta in the region then get over to Phang Nga Bay, Phuket for The Phang Nga Bay Regatta at the beginning of the year.
